birthday seclusion in Guimaras Island

The trip I had to Guimaras Island, Iloilo two days ago was a wonderful one. It was more than what I expected. I've been planning to celebrate my birthday alone as a seclusion and it did happen. Going to the island of Guimaras was a long way from the city of Iloilo. I had to take different means of transportation from flying (from Cebu) to riding a van, taxi, boat and tricycle. It was a day before my birthday and it seemed that the people I traveled with knew what day it was for me. (or was it all in my mind? hehehe..)

birthday card

After arriving in Cebu from my 23rd birthday alone in Guimaras Island, Iloilo, he came with a present and a birthday card in hand.

The print on the card goes like this:

Sometimes, when I look at you, I can hardly believe you're mine. How did I ever get so lucky?

Thank you pangga! But honestly, the card looks more like a Valentine's card than a Birthday card, hehehe. Thank you for supporting my decision to have a seclusion on my birthday! :)
