jeddah, saudi arabia

The flight to Jeddah was surprisingly empty. It was my first and I wanted to learn as much as I could but not a single passenger was on board. It was an 11- hour flight and I saw how big King Abdul Aziz International Airport was when I seated in the flight deck upon landing. I tried being in the flight deck once in Airbus.

The following morning, I ate out with Helen, one of my colleagues. The fried chicken from Al Baik fast food restaurant was great! It was even better than the chicken from international brands like KFC and Mcdonalds. The garlic sauce was amazing. I had four pieces of spicy chicken with bread, fries and an orange juice. The prices were below average. The restaurant have a separate area for male only and another area was for families, just like any other restaurants in Saudi Arabia.

My first night in Jeddah, I met an old friend and new Filipino friends while the second day was with the rest of the crew. We went to Aziz Mall and Balad Market.
